Bought this album when it first came out. Algy Ward was a fan of Motorhead and had close connections with them. "Fast" Eddie Clark produced the LP this is from. This is the first track on side one. Blew me away when I first heard it. Tragic that Algy has passed. Thank you Tank. Had many a stiff neck headbanging to these tunes.

First motorhead album I bought in 81 aged 16 years old , mind blowing at the time , one of the best live records of all time , this over kill track probably best recording of the track ever

I remember hearing tank in session on Tommy vance Friday night rock show back in 1982i thought they were amazing great band bought album on cassette tape back then , also love Sodom's cover off this on better of dead album

Thrash before thrash, 70s-early 80s British heavy metal really paved the way for American and German thrash bands, this has strong Judas Priest and Motörhead vibes combined with punk energy (Algy Ward played in The Damned before Tank, this explains that), but also clearly foreshadows what would be heard on albums like Metallica's Kill 'em All, Anthrax's Fistful Of Metal, Sodom's In The Sign Of Evil, Kreator's Endless Pain or Running Wild's Gates To Purgatory!

When I was 14 y/o, I bought a compilation album called Welcome to the Metal Zone. This song was on it and this song alone made the purchase worthwhile. That was 40 years ago and I still love this band.
